Reporting to the Head of HR this is a newly created role where the Regional HR Advisor will play a key role in supporting the business across a number of locations in the Eastern region.
This is a true HR generalist remit, where key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing advice and guidance to managers regarding all areas of HR areas in accordance with Company policy and current legislation throughout the employee journey.
2. Support managers in dealing with performance, employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, investigations, disciplinary, grievance and absence management.
3. Effectively manage the recruitment and selection process, whilst also proactively identifying and sourcing candidates utilising direct sourcing, research and social media
4. Support managers with probation reviews
5. Facilitate an effective performance review process, coaching and up-skilling managers as necessary
6. Develop and deliver in-house training as appropriate
7. Working closely with the Head of HR to play a key role in any restructures, organisational changes and terms and conditions changes.
The person
8. CIPD Level 5 Qualified
9. Previous experience of working in an HR Generalist role with a strong knowledge of HR Practices, policies and employment law.
10. Strong decision making and problem solving skills with the confidence to escalate critical issues.
11. Competent user of Microsoft Packages, with a high level of IT literacy and experience of HR Systems and Processes.
The role will be office based 3 days a week with travel across multiple locations across the region. Applicants must therefore hold a full UK driving licence and be flexible to travel.
A company car will be available as part of the remuneration package.
