Key Responsibilities;
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
Teach engaging and creative lessons across a range of humanities subjects (e.g., History, Geography, Religious Education) to Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all learners.
Participate actively in school life, contributing to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
Key Requirements;
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have previous experience teaching humanities subjects at secondary level.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.
Be passionate about education and committed to student progress and attainment.
Have an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
