Experienced Veterinary Surgeon - Procedures Biased
Our client, a well-respected independently owned practice, is looking for an experienced, procedures-biased Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. They seek a surgeon with an interest and previous experience in surgical procedures and ideally some background in sole charge or leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Covering first opinion and referral care, including medical and surgical cases
* Advanced diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation
* Opportunity to grow and master areas of special interest
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with:
* A 4-day week, with 10-hour shifts (various shift times between 7:30am - 8:00pm), totaling 40 hours
* 1-hour lunch break
* Equal rota for daytime in-patient care and help with emergencies over weekends and bank holidays
* 2 days off in lieu of any weekends worked
* No out-of-hours duties, except as a “last resort” backup to the dedicated emergency team on a rare rota basis
* Primarily based at the busy branch clinic in Worthing, with potential shifts at hospitals to expand case exposure if needed
