Provide strategic leadership and direction for Integrated Urgent Care services. Monitor the service performance and take immediate corrective action when required. Notify the IUCS Service Director or nominated deputy immediately of any circumstances which may affect the provision of a high-quality service. Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care. Comply with and maintain Business Continuity plans for all key service areas. Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols and guidelines in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements for the IUCS service. Implement quality assurance initiatives and monitor compliance with national and local standards through own practice and support to others. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other healthcare providers and community organisations. Represent the IUCS at meetings, conferences, and other events. Advocate for patient needs and community health issues. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of clinical and administrative staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration and continuous improvement. Manage budgets and resource allocation to ensure financial sustainability. Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management. Any other reasonable duties as required from time to time Ensure staff compliance with appropriate Trust and HR policies and procedures. Demonstrate and contribute to embedding the GHCs Trust Values across the organisation.
