Job summary To support the Deputy Head of Financial Control by providing cover for all business critical processes within the financial accounts department. To provide an efficient, effective and professional financial services service to the Trust and its stakeholders, in compliance with accounting standards and good practice guidelines. To support both the Trust and the charitable funds treasury function, by preparing and entering suppliers and payroll related BACS/CHAPS/cheque payments, ensuring all controls are adhered to. To support in upkeep of financial ledgers, reconciliation including Capital and VAT transactions. To have primary responsibility for the correct accounting for Trust's and the Charitable Funds bank transactions and credit cards. To support the account payable and receivable function, which is undertaken by the Trust's shared service provider, ensuring complex accounts payable queries referred to the financial accounts team are promptly resolved.
