About the RoleThis full-time, long-term position is ideal for someone who thrives on making a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. As an ASD Specialist, you will:
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Implement effective communication strategies to support students' social and emotional development.
• Assist in adapting lesson materials to meet individual needs and promote engagement.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents to create a cohesive support plan for each child.
• Use your expertise in behavioural management to foster a calm, supportive, and productive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For
• Experience working with children with ASD in a primary school setting.
• Knowledge of communication strategies such as PECS or Makaton is highly desirable
.• Strong behavioural management skills with a calm and patient approach.• A proactive, empathetic, and adaptable individual who is committed to fostering inclusion.
