Aegon’s Technology department is hiring four innovative and ambitious summer interns for our 12-week placement. We’re forming a Skunk Team – a creative, fast-moving group tasked with dreaming up bold ideas, tackling complex problems, and working experimentally to bring fresh prospective to real world challenges. Ideate: Brainstorm wild innovative concepts to push the boundaries of technology. Prototype: Develop and test experimental solutions in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Collaborate: Work closely with experts, mentors, and fellow interns on meaningful projects. Learn: Gain insight into cutting edge technologies and real-world business applications. Ideally you will also have experience in the following: ADX Frontend is Angular TypeScript Custom component library A lot of Java 17 APIs running on Kubernetes Thin Node.js proxy services Small amount of Python code running on serverless AWS Lambda Hosted on AWS, configured using Terraform Pipelines are Jenkins MYLO Terraform for IaC iOS - Swift and SwiftUI Android - Kotlin and Jetpack Compose UI API testing - K6 using TypeScript You will be required to work 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday on an hourly rate of £12.60.
