Position Overview
As the National Account Manager in the OOH/Foodservice team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining relationships with key accounts across Out of Home, Foodservice, End Users and Wholesale – focusing on Pub chains, contract catering and QSR. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales, account management, and a deep understanding of the FMCG industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.
Responsibilities:
Account Management:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national foodservice accounts.
* Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and strategize on expanding market share.
Sales Strategy:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market penetration.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to drive business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to align strategies and support customer needs.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Negotiation:
* Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favourable terms, pricing, and promotional opportunities.
* Work closely with finance to ensure profitability and alignment with company goals.
Forecasting and Reporting:
* Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
* Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success in national account management within OOH and Foodservice.
* A good understanding of the Wholesale route to market and working with end users.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
* Ability to travel as needed.
