Join our team and take your career to the next level Job Purpose: To deliver sales growth for the Division by proactively responding to direct enquiries and actively pursuing repair and upgrade quotations with clients who have used PTSG Cradle Maintenance services Key Accountabilities: Repair Sales: Generate repair sales by preparing quotations using standard service and pricing parameters and liaising with engineering, technical and contract staff to assemble the proposal. The quotation opportunities will come via Engineer worksheets, direct client enquiries and other referral routes. Ensure the regular and systematic follow up of quotations to maximise sales opportunities. Sales Reporting: On a weekly basis, provide a Sales Report that outlines both activity and new business secured following a standard Group format. Customer Education: As part of the sales strategy, inform and educate the client base about the safety related compliance requirements in the Access Maintenance sector. Database Management: Maintain accurate client records, recording and retaining information in a structured and timely manner. Sales Administration: Perform any related sales administration tasks i.e. quotations, letters etc. Job Context / Key Challenges: The Access Maintenance Division of PTSG is an established business in the suspended access and lifting equipment sector that has built a reputation for providing a quality service at competitive prices. Through a team of Engineers based nationwide, the division provides several services to clients – testing and certification, inspections, repairs and upgrades and training. The environment is strictly regulated, and our customers must ensure their equipment meets exacting British Standards. This role holder will have a monthly sales target to achieve, with performance being managed and rewarded accordingly. Role Dimensions: Individual contributor with no direct reports Targeted and incentivised to drive sales growth Person Profile (Qualifications, Knowledge, Skill and Experience): Proven experience of sales ability that includes generating and following up on quotations issued to secure business. Knowledge of working at height regulations and British standards is an advantage. Capable of working independently to individual activity/sales targets Result orientated and a proactive influencer. Professional and credible relationship builder Good commercial acumen with previous business-to-business exposure Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organised with experience of using databases and planning tools effectively Numerate, with an ability to quickly and accurately perform simple calculations. Strong IT skills (especially Excel)
