We have an exciting opportunity for a Joint Venture Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at The London Clinic, based at our Head Office in central London (NW1 4LJ). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary.

Job Profile:
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated qualified Accountant to join our Finance department and become a strong member of our team. You should have experience and understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial analysis techniques. We are looking for a good team player who is able to contribute to the success of the Finance team with a blend of technical expertise, interpersonal skills, and personal qualities that contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations within our team.
* Job Type: 12-month FTC, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.
* Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday.
* Job Location: The London Clinic Head Office, 1 Park Square West, NW1 4LJ.

Key Duties:
* Joint Venture Accounting: Responsible for the accounting of TLCs sub accounts, including production of Statutory accounts, forecasts, intercompany accounting transactions. With prior experience in accounting for intercompany transactions. Ensuring that the accounts produced are in time.
* Advisory Role: Providing financial guidance and support to project teams to help them make informed decisions and achieve project objectives.
* Audit support: To support the Finance manager in areas of Audit including production of Statutory Accounts. Working with the finance manager to create a new Stat model.
* Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess project profitability, return on investment, and cost efficiency. They provide insights to project managers and stakeholders to support decision-making.
* Month-end Close: Support the Finance Manager with the month end pack and tasks as required.
* Financial Reporting: Generating financial reports related to project performance, including profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets. These reports provide insights into the financial health of the project and help stakeholders make informed decisions.
* Ad Hoc Projects: Participating in special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, which may involve process improvement initiatives, or other ad hoc tasks.
* Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards in all financial activities. Providing technical accounting support to the team where required.
Skills & Experience:
* Qualified ACA or ACCA
* Experience of Joint Venture accounting and intercompany transactions, including production of statutory accounts and forecasts, and working knowledge of cost-sharing structures, JV financial reporting, and partnership agreements.
* Demonstrable experience managing financials for specific projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with the ability to identify trends, cost inefficiencies, and financial risks.
* Proven experience in tracking projects costs, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring.
* Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and financial modelling.
* Strong analytics skills, with the ability to handle project budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
