SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
POSITION: Senior Quantity Surveyor
LOCATION: Commutable from Hull, Leeds, Doncaster, York, Lincoln, Grimsby, Selby, Beverley, Scarborough, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Harrogate
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £42,500 - £44,700

THE ROLE: This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our forward-thinking Public Sector client. They offer the opportunity to work on some exciting projects in the next few years as part of their multi-discipline team working on Capital Projects. The working hours are 37 hours per week. Genuine flexible working arrangements are available including the opportunity to work a 9-day fortnight with a day off every other week. This is a hybrid role that offers a mix of office and home working.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor role will involve working within the whole design process, and the successful candidate will be expected to provide design and project management colleagues with technical advice in terms of costing, and the ability to undertake feasibility studies.
There is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work towards Chartership if this is something that is of interest to them.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on either Buildings or Civils projects
2. Minimum NVQ Level 4 / HNC/HND level qualification in a relevant Construction/Quantity Surveying qualification
3. Experience of NEC contract procedures
4. Experience of managing construction budgets
5. Full driving licence
