The candidate will need to be flexible and able to work afternoons and evenings Responsibilities To assist the Young Carers Project Manager and Young Carers Project Lead during Youth Club sessions. Deliver on after-school clubs and school holiday trips for young carers in Ealing and Hounslow. Develop and maintain positive relationships with young carers. Keep up to date registers, risk assessments and regularly upload to monitoring systems. To understand and comply with all policies and procedures in line with Trust and contractual responsibilities including the safeguarding of the young people, GDPR, health and safety and EDI. Work flexible hours including evenings and occasional weekends. Participate in training sessions related to safeguarding and emergency response. Report any safeguarding concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities or designated personnel. Maintain accurate records of incidents, concerns, and actions taken Participate in and stay up to date with relevant child protection training and workshops. Essential Criteria Experience of working with young people (paid or voluntary) Ability to work as part of a team Experience of building positive relationships with young people Excellent communication and organisation skills Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team. Availability to work evenings, school holidays and occasional weekends To be able work across Ealing and Hounslow Safeguarding and First Aid qualification or willingness to complete Personal Qualities: Good time management An ability to deal calmly and effectively with emotional or challenging situations with participants Behaviour consistent with creating a child focused, open environment in which young people feel valued and empowered.
