Junior Software Engineer Bromsgrove £24,000 - £26,000 Hybrid – once training completed We are currently seeing a Junior Software Engineer to join our Highways Technology Clients. The role is based near Bromsgrove, once training completed role will become Hybrid with 2/3 days in the office. Comes with a salary of £24,000-£26,000. Responsibilities for Junior Software Engineer Develop software as part of the product life cycle using a variety of software tools and operating systems. Research and investigate new developments in software and hardware. Keep up to date with the latest developments and emerging technologies. Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer to ensure projects are delivered on time. Work with external software developers when required. Recognize potential business opportunities for products and services and communicate this to the business while remaining commercially aware. Undertake other duties as the Company may require from time to time. Ensure clear communication with cross-functional team members. Complete all work within the standards and work procedures set out in the Company’s Quality Management System. Contribute to the achievement of the Company’s quality objectives. Take part in any training & development activities as required. Requirements for Junior Software Engineer Background in software development languages (such as C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript). Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems. Proficiency in C# .NET Core, ASP.Net, JavaScript, SQL. High standard of English, both verbal and written. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization. Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office and software development tools such as Rider and Visual Studio). A degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
