You will undertake fee paying work for SSAS schemes and have an ability to develop quickly a competent level of legislative and regulatory knowledge relating to calculations required for SSAS portfolio. You will have an ability to work accurately and with an eye for detail. You will be able to judge whether calculations you perform are what would be expected.
You will be able to handle queries from administrators relating to contribution and benefit calculations for SSAS clients. This role brings together technical calculation and written and verbal communications in a professional environment.
You will be able to assist in data preparation, models and preparation of reports in conformance to actuarial, regulatory and statutory standards for the DB SSAS schemes.
You will assist the actuaries with calculations required for the group pension scheme clients, pre-paid funeral plan clients when required. You are expected to support all aspects of the work coming into the team.

Qualification Requirements
* Numerical qualification – either a degree with numerical content or other professional qualification showing numerical competence.
