An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Business & Finance teacher to join us at our Barnfield College Campus, New Bedford Road, Luton.
We are looking for a professional individual willing to make a difference to our learners, provide innovative and dynamic teaching to meet the needs of young people and prepare them for the next stage of their life. The successful candidate must have the capacity and ability to manage the progress of learners across all levels and support their pastoral needs, whilst monitoring course specific KPI’s.
You will be:
* A qualified teacher
* Experienced in teaching particularly with finance related units but not restricted to.
* Have knowledge and understanding of BTEC qualifications, exams, assessments and marking.
* An assessor and verifier qualification are desirable
You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, teaching across a range of FE Business curriculum programmes level 1 – 3. The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.
You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting. The successful candidate must be confident that they can contribute to excellent exam results.
