Job summary Your remit will be to assist the Transport and Logistics Manager/Assistant Transport and Logistics Manager to provide the efficient and effective operational running of the Transport Service. This will mean taking ownership of all Courier activity in order to ensure optimum utilisation at minimum cost and building strong links with the Issue Department to ensure timely delivery of products to hospitals. Main duties of the job In this role you will be required to :- Work as a key member of the team at an NHSBT location undertaking local centre, regional and national tasks. Undertake operational work planning and application of organisational service provision of NHSBT. Work as part of the transport department operational team assisting in the efficient and effective operational running of the Transport and Logistics services.
