Seeking a Commercial & Technical Asset Manager in Edinburgh, Scotland, to manage operational assets, ensure compliance, and develop relationships with stakeholders. Key responsibilities include managing contracts, integrating new assets, and analyzing technical issues.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all contracts connected to operational assets and ensure compliance with deliverables, technical and commercial-administrative aspects.
* Support the integration of new assets (currently onshore wind) into the operational phase.
* Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and (local) authorities.
* Manage the operational assets & ensure continuous tracking of their performance in line with KPIs, Company's Global EHS&Q guidelines & local HSE legislation.
* Coordinate and monitor all O&M activities by liaising with external contractors.
* Analyze technical issues & faults, efficiently coordinate problem-solving and evaluate possible opportunities for cost reduction and/or performance improvements; prepare period reports.
* Continuously monitor operating costs to ensure budget compliance; process and verify invoices relating to the asset contracts.
* Support in annual budget preparation by defining the scope of work/services & in tender management/contract negotiation.
* Desired Skills and Knowledge:
* Academic background in: Engineering, Renewable Energies, Project Management.
* 2-3 years of experience within the wind onshore industry, in asset or operations management.
* Experience in contract/compliance & operations management.
* Understanding of HSE UK legislation relevant for the renewable energy sector.
* Experience in other renewable technologies (battery, solar).
* Technical and/or general market knowledge (wind onshore, battery, solar).
* Professional English knowledge (written and spoken).
* Knowledge of SCADA, SAP, third party monitoring/data performance platforms, Microsoft office.
Location: Edinburgh (UK), with partial remote working
