We are looking for an organised Facilities Assistant to join the firm in London. You will report into the Facilities Manager in this position, supporting the firm’s growth and assisting in the day-to-day running of the Facilities department.
Your future role at QRT:
1. Perform routine checks and schedule maintenance requests promptly.
2. Own a range of ad-hoc tasks to provide the appropriate level of service to the business.
3. Provide support for the meetings room, ensuring AV is logged in and checked each day.
4. Coordinate event support for AV, furniture, and logistics.
5. Liaise with our external AV provider to log any defects with the meeting rooms.
6. Organise logistics around deliveries and the loading bay.
7. Support the Facilities Manager on both first aid and fire warden training and documentation.
8. Book and escort engineers.
9. Support the Office Management team where required.
10. Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facilities related services.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 1-2 years of proven experience in a similar role.
2. Competent and able to use initiative in all situations.
3. Familiar with room booking systems and Audio-Visual setups.
4. Hands-on approach to your work.
5. Team player.
6. Knowledge of principles involved in preventative/predictive maintenance and building systems.
7. Demonstrates initiative and a can-do attitude.
8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to take full ownership of tasks.
