Since then, we have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

THE ROLE
As an HVAC Engineer, you will be in charge of the following activities:
* Overseeing the technical part of the project’s HVAC equipment contract with a specific focus on equipment follow-up, in close collaboration with the layout and HVAC system teams, the contractor, as well as with the client.
* Supporting the equipment section of the team with verifying seismic calculation justification documents from the supplier.
* Serving as the representative of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in various meetings with the client and the supplier.
* Reporting on the progress of equipment technical open points during fortnightly dedicated meetings with the contractor and the client.
* Monitoring contractor's deliverables related to handover activities (Seismic calculation notes, HVAC Release Report, and HVAC database).
* Performing reviews of supplier documents related to Instrumentation & Control scope.
* Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of the impacts of CCRs (Contractor Change Requests).
* Managing the processing of modifications, including monitoring progress, using performance indicators, and generating reports when needed.
* Updating the HVAC database and managing Change Transfer Sheet issue to the client according to the schedule.

This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Experience in Seismic calculation (FEA - Finite Element Analysis).
* Experience in system engineering, layout engineering or similar.
* Experience in cost, and schedule management of high-value technical contracts.
* Experience in project configuration management.
* Proficiency in utilizing Navisworks or equivalent software.
* Ability to effectively manage own workload in order to respect deadlines and KPI.
* Ability to prioritise, to manage numerous tasks.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and to deal with different stakeholders, confident in communicating within an international environment and proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment sizing (AHU, fans, filters, water coils), HVAC Pressurised Water Reactor system design principles.
* Knowledge and understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers.
* Knowledge of nuclear safety classification.
* Knowledge of UK licensing requirements and their application.
* Experience working on an EPR project, operating plant or on an industrial site.
* French-speaking and reading would be an advantage.
