A fantastic opportunity has arisen to be part of a successful international organisation.
This company pride themselves on their continuous development and improvement of the processes and production equipment. They are currently undertaking their next phase of recruitment and therefore require a production manager to run their well balanced operations team working in a highly, professional and regulated industry.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Produce relevant reports and KPIs and communicate performance to all staff within your business area.
* Responsible for production areas and aspects including shop floor layout, health and safety, PPE, quality and the development of the team.
* Ensuring that Sage 200 system is used and that accurate system information is maintained.
* Ensuring that equipment is maintained in good working, safe condition
Knowledge and Experience:
* Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrable knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing and manufacturing productivity improvements.
* Welder/Fabrication background.
* Hands on : this will be shopfloor not office based position.
