About The Role
Senior Support Worker – Location: Maes-Y-Coed, Pembroke Dock – Full Time: 45.5 hours per week – Hourly Rate: £12.50 to £13.75.
Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for career development? We have an exciting opportunity in Pembroke Dock for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our residential home in Maes-Y-Coed. Where you will support individuals with complex needs associated with autism.
You will be assisting in the day to day management of the home and help continue to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals.
At Maes Y Coed we support adults with complex needs associated with autism. We embrace sector-leading practice and blend education, care and therapeutic support to provide tailor-made placements for unique individuals. Our service is set in idyllic grounds and will support 5 individuals living in their own apartments. Each apartment has its own garden space and has good access to local amenities, countryside and beaches.
A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
Act as shift leader
Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
Participating in the on-call rota.
Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
Promote and celebrate homes achievements.To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:
Experience in a support environment.
QCF level 3 qualified.
Knowledge of statutory regulations.
Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
Uphold company policies and standards.
Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
