Merchandiser
We are Sosandar. Based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, we’re one of the UK’s fastest growing online fashion brands for chic and stylish women; worn by celebs and influencers galore. We have an amazing opportunity for someone equally as amazing to join our growing team as a Merchandiser.
As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting, purchasing, and promoting the right mix of merchandise to ensure maximum profitability. You will work closely with our Buying and Design teams to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
This is what you'll do:
* Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and risks.
* Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimise product assortment, pricing, and placement.
* Collaborate with design and production teams to develop seasonal product lines that meet customer demand and align with brand aesthetic.
* Manage inventory levels through WSSI and line cards to maximise sell through and minimise excess stock.
* Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favourable terms to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.
* Work closely with the concessions and wholesale team to ensure we meet the product needs of our partners.
* Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management on sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising initiatives.
Your experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Proven experience at Merchandiser level, ideally in the fashion industry.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Creative flair and a passion for fashion.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
