We are currently recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to join our Engineering team in Sittingbourne, Kent, on a fixed-term contract of 9 to 15 months.
Responsibilities include:
* To maintain and control sufficient stock of all spares.
* Responsible for ensuring all spares are held in the correct bin locations and are easily accessible.
* All goods ordered and receipted promptly.
* Accurate and timely administration of Purchase Requisitions and Orders.
* Ensure that new materials are correctly created via the MDM (Material Data Management) system.
* Generate periodic reports as required related to stores/stock activity, including P.I stock counts.
* Ensure that delivering vehicles are unloaded in a safe and efficient manner.
* Maintain Engineering Stores security at all times. Ensure SAP stock accuracy in relation to Engineering Inventory.
* To comply with budgetary controls within the Engineering Department.
* Designated stock items held in sufficient quantities as highlighted by the SAP-MM Material Master (MRP) so any plant failure can be quickly rectified. Review as required.
* Check inbound deliveries for order compliance and raise corrective actions should the need arise.
* Goods-in deliveries are checked, placed in the correct bin and receipted promptly.
* Critical for accurate stock control.
* Ability for stock items to be found in good time and in the correct place.
* All SAP-MM MRP related data to be kept up to date and accurately administered.
* Goods out/repairs administered promptly and efficiently and tracked until their return.
* Liaise with engineering promptly regarding stores issues and actively participate in resolution.
* Continuous improvements of stores function to maintain and exceed performance.
* Develop effective relationships with the engineering team, including suppliers.
* To liaise with Immingham Stores Coordinator to establish and maintain best practice in Knauf Stores management.
* Give a prompt and efficient service to stores customers.
* Develop effective relationships with suppliers to ensure best price and delivery supporting cost control.
* Month end reports for Sittingbourne & Immingham, as well as weekly budgeting reports.
* Critical spares analysis via consumption / availability data. Manage daily MRP & reordering.
Requirements include:
* Experience within an FMCG / engineering environment.
* Computer literacy within SAP & Microsoft Office.
* Good analytical skills with the ability to monitor & manage stock movements in line with Critical Spares Analysis.
* Accredited IOSH.
