The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care. Position: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry Hours: This position is a full-time role of 40 hours per week Location: Plymouth,Devon Setting: CMHT Dates: 27 August 2024 until 14 November 2024 Key Responsibilities as a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry: Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulating individualized treatment plans for adults with mental health challenges. Leading and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality and person-centered psychiatric care. Overseeing and guiding therapeutic interventions, including medication management, crisis interventions, and psychotherapeutic approaches. Monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed. Contributing to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
