Vacancy for 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistants:
We require one to one learning assistants who are reliable, competent and caring to work within various roles across EYFS and Key Stage One with children with additional needs.
The positions are initially for between 6 and 15 hours per week, currently until July 2025 (Term time only) to start as soon after interview as possible.
The candidates will need to have recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behavioural, Personal and Speech and Language needs, and/or working within an EYFS or Pre-school setting.
Responsibilities:
* Support a pupil or pupils on an individual basis in the school setting.
* Be adaptable, well organised and an effective team player.
* Where necessary work with groups of children.
* Have good English and Maths skills to GCSE or equivalent level, and possible relevant LA and/or EYFS training qualifications.
* Have good communication skills, patience, compassion and motivation to encourage pupils to achieve their best.
* Undertake additional training to support medical and personal needs.
