You’ll be acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, supporting the management team to maximize sales and fundraising targets.
What will I be doing?
1. Manage the store commercially including display and merchandising, stock management, maintaining shop standards, layout of store, opening and closing of store.
2. Support national stock initiatives including Marketplace and Distribution Centres.
3. Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
4. Manage and support a team of people – both paid colleagues and volunteers.
5. Work alongside the Shop Manager towards agreed targets.
6. Maintain compliance with Cancer Research UK policies – Health and Safety, Safeguarding, security, administration, HR and Sustainability.
7. Build networks within the local community.
What are you looking for?
1. Experience of leading and inspiring a diverse team.
2. Good time management, prioritization, organization, and planning skills.
3. The ability to create relationships and communicate well.
4. Flexible attitude and adaptability to changing situations.
5. Experience of working in a fast-paced/customer-facing environment.
6. Flexibility in working on a rota basis.
7. Travel to meetings and training sessions as required.
