Job Description – Domestic Assistant
Accountable To: Manager/Deputy Manager
General: The post holder will maintain the cleaning schedule for all of The White House Care Home and follow the procedure for cleaning Rota’s. Their role will incorporate working as a domestic assistant.
KEY DUTIES OF THE POST:
1. To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Home having good knowledge of COSHH and infection control issues.
2. To be aware of the home's procedures & policies in relation to health and safety requirements.
3. To provide an efficient response to emergency situations.
4. Where required, to attend in-service programmes and discussions appropriate to this appointment.
5. To understand the requirement for confidentiality in all matters relating to staff team members and residents.
6. To work in accordance with duty rosters on a flexible basis.
7. When working on domestic duties you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the home, in accordance with the cleaning Rota and manager’s instructions.
