We are recruiting a part-time concierge to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the hotel. Shifts patterns will range across morning, afternoon, and evenings.
A full clean driving license is essential for the role.
As a concierge, you will be dedicated to enhancing guest experiences through personalized assistance, seamless issue resolution, event coordination, and expert recommendations for an exceptional stay. You will ensure a warm reception, efficient services, and immaculate surroundings to create a memorable and enjoyable atmosphere.
About The Role
Main Responsibilities
1. Greet customers: A hotel concierge is the first point of contact for guests and customers entering a hotel. They act as the face of the hotel or brand; hence, professionalism and a friendly approachable disposition are important to make a guest feel welcomed.
2. Assist guests with queries: A guest may have an issue with his or her room, trouble working equipment in the hotel, or have a question regarding the hotel’s services. A hotel concierge deals with these and other inquiries to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
3. Arrange events, transport, and excursions: A hotel concierge works with external and partner companies to arrange excursions to surrounding attractions, book taxis and other transport, and arrange events on behalf of the guests.
4. Make recommendations: This includes dining options, sports, tours, and other suitable attractions.
5. Provide maps and directions.
6. Assist in on-site events such as weddings or corporate meetings if asked by management.
7. Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
8. Manage mail, luggage, deliveries, and messages for guests.
9. Maintain standards around the reception and outdoor entrance areas and grounds of the hotel.
10. Look after the bar area in reception.
11. Assist with service in the reception lounge area and upkeep of this area.
12. Maintain standards of toilets in public areas.
13. Any other reasonable management request.
