In this role,you will lead the Development's Finance department comprising of acentral team and five regional teams, ensuring strong financialgovernance and overseeing management accounts, forecasts, andannual planning. As a key member of the Developments Board andsenior leadership teams, you'll collaborate with the Group ManagingDirector, Developments to shape strategy and support businessexecution.
You'll workwith the Group finance team to set strategic direction and ensurecompliance with financial and regulatory requirements, addressingany issues swiftly. Preparing quarterly performance updates for theDevelopment Committee will be part of yourresponsibilities.
Fostering aninclusive and engaged Finance team, you'll promote professionaldevelopment and a culture of continuous improvement. You'll overseefinancial modelling for new opportunities, guiding investmentdecisions to meet KPIs, while ensuring clear communication ofDevelopments' goals through Regional Board meetings and Roadshows.Lastly, you'll manage Work In Progress and cash positions to alignwith the Group's risk appetite.

It is importantyou are an inspiring leader with significant experience of housingdevelopment at a senior management level within a complexorganisation, capable of influencing all stakeholders. You excel inchallenging and operating effectively at the leadership level,demonstrating strong decision-making, strategic thinking, andplanning skills. Your excellent communication abilities allow youto influence the entire organization and engage effectively withexternal partners. You have a proven track record in continuousimprovement and driving financialperformance.
It is preferredfor you to also have experience working in a matrix environment,balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Your backgroundincludes roles in customer-centric or social enterprise sectors,along with expertise in appraising large-scale, mixed-usedevelopment projects. You are knowledgeable in capital/revenueaccounting, commercial evaluation, financial control, and treasurymanagement, and you have prior experience with joint venturearrangements and managing senior bankingfacilities.
