1:1 Teaching Assistant & Midday Supervisor / Learning Support Assistant with MDSA Duties - SN3
Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their learning and development? My client is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant who will also take on midday supervision responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, providing one-to-one support to a child with additional needs while playing a crucial role in their broader class and school experience. This role will be working for a total of 25 hours as a TA and 3.75 hours as a MDSA.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide 1:1 support to a child with specific educational and developmental needs
* Assist in organizing and delivering learning activities, including literacy, numeracy, and ICT
* Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment under the direction of the class teacher
* Implement and assist with a behavior management program to promote positive interactions
* Supervise children during break times as part of your Midday Supervisor duties
* Support the organization of school trips and out-of-school activities as needed
About You
* Be able to do the job as described
* Patient, calm, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills
* Creative and motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work as part of a team
* Comfortable working with children with special educational needs and providing personal care support
* Team Teach trained or willing to undergo this training to enhance classroom management skills
