Gap healthcare is currently recruiting for a new and exciting opportunity on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll Officer/Administrator to join their team.
9:00am – 5:00pm – Hybrid Working Considered – Spalding
As a Payroll Officer, you will support the processing of payrolls for all our employees across our multiple care sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. The collection and verification of payroll data
2. Reviewing payroll reports and communicating any changes or corrections needed in a timely manner
3. Dealing with all employees, HMRC, and third-party payroll queries
4. Ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation, including HMRC and National Minimum Wage
5. Producing the required payroll-related reports for the operations team as and when required
6. Providing information and assistance to employees regarding payroll policies and procedures
7. Ensuring the employee records are accurate and up-to-date
8. Ensuring that the finance system balance sheets are up to date through reconciliations
9. Uploading pension contributions to Nest
To be successful in your application, you will live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all you do. Our ideal candidate must have:
1. A minimum of 2 years payroll experience
2. Experience of processing payroll within the care industry or a multi-site operation
3. Strong Microsoft experience and understanding, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel
4. Experience of Access People Planner and QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll software
