How You'll Make an Impact As a Management Accountant, you will report to the Finance Manager and play a critical role in supporting financial planning and reporting. You'll be responsible for backfilling duties, overseeing management accounts, and working closely with budget holders to drive key financial insights. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach and is ideal for someone who can work independently with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review management accounts, with a focus on prepayments, accruals, and budgeting. Assist in budget preparation and provide financial reports to department managers. Analyze pay and overhead costs, assessing income and expenses for budget holders. Support the month-end process by reviewing financial data and preparing reports. Liaise with various departments to provide financial insights and help streamline processes. Contribute to an inclusive, laid-back work environment, collaborating with senior finance team members and budget holders. Ability to work independently, with a proactive and problem-solving approach. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with budget holders effectively.
