Job Title: Finance Lead\n\nJob Purpose:\n\nTo produce excellent Client Reporting and provide excellent financial support to the Account/Portfolio (Finance Contract Manager and their operational teams), through added value financial analysis and valued input to the operational team. Help manage and report on the GMP.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nClient Finance\n\n * Develop strong relationships with both the Client operational and Client finance teams\n\n * Understand the commercial model (GMP) and enforce governance and compliance to support effective execution\n\n * Produce Client reports and provide value add financial commentary in their portfolio\n\n * Work with the Client to compile annual budgets & quarterly forecasts\n\n * Working closely with operations and commercial team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that financial targets are achieved\n\n * Support collation of monthly accruals to Client finance teams\n\n * Achieve results within quality and time restraints across multiple locations and countries\n\nCBRE Finance\n\n * Provide direct financial support and expertise to the account\n\n * Provide added value financial commentary to support regular, standard financial reports\n\n * Working closely with Finance Contract Manager + Account Manager to manage the GMP and all costs associated\n\n * Report monthly on actual figures and support in the reconciliation of the GMP\n\n * Provide ad-hoc support to Finance Manager as required\n\n * Working closely with the team to identify all possible savings opportunities and ensure that financial targets are achieved\n\n * Support compilation of CBRE annual budgets & quarterly forecasts\n\n * Ensure finance procedures are adhered to by operations team, and take corrective action / escalate where required\n\n * Support in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required\n\nQualifications\n\n * Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level or degree (or equivalent)\n\n * Part qualified or newly qualified CCAB accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) (desirable)\n\nExperience\n\n * Working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite\n\n * Having experience on a GMP contract is desirable\n\n * Reporting in a complex multi-country, multi-divisional, service business (Industry experience) including financial planning and contracts management\n\n * Dealing with Forex in a multi-currency environment\n\n * Providing senior management with financial results and analysis\n\n * Demonstrable experience working with complex financial and operational information systems and controls in a large business that provides consistent and reliable information\n\n * Focus on strong focus on customer service\n\n * Previous experience of a customer-facing role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX or Concept software along with financial / accounting experience would be an advantage (desirable)\n\n * Presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas and results to senior stakeholders (desirable)
