About the Role:
This position will be based at our new state-of-the-art facility in Dartford and may require occasional travel to support manufacturing partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support assembly plant clearances and management of any changes to the value stream impacting type approval and conformity of production.
* Support product and project teams with new type approvals, type approval extensions, regulation revisions, and cessation of production.
* Support the Quality Assurance function in undertaking all Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements throughout the supply chain.
* Support the organisation in raising competencies and awareness of the type approval, conformity of production, and homologation processes both internally and externally.
* Taking ownership and responsibility of the organisation's documented type approval, conformity of production, and product conformance processes and procedures.
* Supporting the procurement department to ensure that the value stream is fully compliant with respect to assembly plant clearances and post-product release continuing conformity of production.
* Supporting product managers and their respective new product and project management teams to ensure that new type approvals, extension to scope, and cessation of production records are maintained.
* To liaise with and be the representative for the organisation in communications to test services and the respective authorities.
* To liaise with and be the representative for the organisation to support customer whole vehicle homologation activities.
* Providing support and cover to other roles within the Quality Assurance team as required throughout the year.

1. Relevant further education and/or apprenticeship to a minimum of national diploma level in allied engineering trade.
