As a Warehouse Operative, you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day asset management of our consumable stock, which will include’ goods receipt, stock location and dispatch preparation and packaging. Working as part of a small team, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the warehouse, and will support with loading & unloading vans, booking in goods to the system and booking collections. Knowledge and competence to operate a forklift as well as a strong understanding of health & safety is key to this position. The Role – Warehouse Operative Supporting the team in loading and unloading goods. Picking and packing goods accurately and checking goods in to the warehouse to then store them efficiently. Checking deliveries against purchase orders to make sure stock level is accurate. Booking in goods onto the system and booking in pallets and courier deliveries for collection. Liaising with other departments of Liquidline, such as parts, purchasing and customer service. To support with keeping the warehouse tidy and organised and following key health & safety policies and procedures at all times. Using and operating counterbalance and flexi forklifts. Reporting on any discrepancies that have an impact on effectiveness to the Warehouse Manager. What You Will Need in the Role of Warehouse Operative. It would be an advantage to your application if you have a qualification and experience in forklift operations. Previous warehouse operative experience. Good with IT systems, and able to pick up new systems effectively with supportive training. Good knowledge of health & safety in the workplace.
