eFX Trader - Vice President
Overall Purpose of Job:
Responsible for eFX book running during London hours, monitoring and analysing client trading behaviour, driving enhancements to eFX pricing and hedging strategy and working with eSales to optimise client experience and performance.
Essential Functions:
* Maximize E-Markets PnL across products, through regular performance review and client optimization.
* Trade Monitoring - eg. atypical flows, unusual client behavior - Position Breaks, eg. Falcon STP issues, Technology Issues & collaborate closely with Morgan Stanley trading.
* Collaborate closely with FXDTD and Sales to grow MSMS PnL and Sales Margin.
* Work with E-Sales & Voice Sales to optimize client pricing in electronic products to achieve PnL and market share goals.
* Work with global sales force to enhance client engagement and improve client service.
* Drive requirements & provide guidance to SMEs and quant team to develop performance alerting & client valuation models.
* Communicate with internal sales and trading Matrix users at MUFG on pricing and trade behavior.
* Own review and execution of suggested pricing changes, provide feedback to further improve signals.
Education:
* Advanced degree in quantitative areas from Top universities.
Work Experience:
* At least 3 years book running experience.
* At least 3 years client analysis experience.
* Deep understanding of FX products including pricing and risk management.
* Familiarity with clients’ product needs and trading behaviour.
* Familiarity with electronic trading platforms.
Functional/Technical Skills And Knowledge Requirements:
* Ability to concentrate and perform in fast paced trading environment.
* Ability to follow the guidance to avoid operation errors.
* Coding skills in any modern language (e.g. Python, Kdb/Q).
* Ability to use software prototyping and developing client analysis tool sets.
* Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients.
