About the role
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will craft, code and implement customised solutions within the Salesforce platform. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our organisation by improving our Salesforce instance, particularly focusing on Service Cloud and custom implementations. You'll collaborate with multi-functional teams, including business partners, administrators, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
You will be responsible for
1. Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies
2. Design and implement solutions for Service Cloud, including case management, knowledge base, and customer support processes
3. Collaborate with business analysts and partners to gather and document requirements for Salesforce solutions
4. Build technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, and design documents
5. Solve and fix bugs, ensuring the stability and functionality of the application
6. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior Developers
7. Stay up-to-date with Salesforce standard processes, new features and industry trends
You will need
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field/equivalent work experience
9. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or equivalent certification
10. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, and Salesforce Certified Administrator certifications are desirable
11. Experience developing on the Salesforce platform
12. Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and SOQL
13. Experience with Service Cloud, including case management and knowledge base
14. Experience with custom integrations using REST/SOAP APIs
15. Solid grasp of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing settings
16. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
17. Effective communication and collaboration skills
