In partnership with the Divisional Director of Operations, you will have responsibility for the management ofclinical and related services for women within the division, to ensure the provision of efficient, high qualityservices. This role is critical inproviding intelligence to inform strategic, contractual, legal, clinical, and operational insights. Build relationships with senior system leaders, representing the organisation in system meetings/workshops. A good understanding of the whole of Women's and Children's is desirable as you will be required to cross cover for Children's services at times. Main duties of the job You will independently lead and manage the defined service area/areas of responsibility pertaining to the portfolio. You will work to ensure the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available. In addition you will maximise clinical and other income streams. You will lead strategic and annual business planning for the defined service areas of responsibility, including the engagement of senior, medical and other staff. You will lead the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and other projectsfor the areas you are responsible for. As required, and in agreement with the DDO, you will lead on the planning and delivery of work on behalf of the Division, working corporately across the organisation and collaborating with outside agencies (such as ICBs, Social Services, Independent Sector) as required. You will support wider divisional priorities including optimised patient flow and provide operational cross cover across the Division as required.
