Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: Field-based (Predominantly Southeast England) with one day per week from our Bedford office
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Benefits and Bonus

Your Role at a Glance:
Conduct specialist condition surveys on commercial, hotel, and government buildings, using rope access, cradles, and roof inspections.
Diagnose façade, glazing, curtain walling, and roof defects, including water ingress, structural issues, and material failures.
Produce technical reports outlining defects, remedial recommendations, and budget estimates.
Develop technical specifications and work closely with estimators and project teams to ensure accurate cost planning.
Provide advisory services on building regulations and compliance to clients and internal teams.
Lead the growth and development of the condition survey division, supporting business strategy and client engagement.
Ensure compliance with RICS, health & safety, and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS/RICS) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
Strong technical knowledge of façade, glazing, curtain walling, and roofing systems.
Experience in commercial property, asset management, or construction consultancy.
A commercial mindset with the ability to bridge technical expertise with business development.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
