About the Role
As an Accommodation Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of a thriving Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) community. You will lead by example, ensuring an exceptional living experience for residents while achieving financial and operational targets. From overseeing leasing strategies to managing budgets and compliance, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe, engaging, and well-maintained environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and inspire your team to deliver a best-in-class resident experience.
2. Drive occupancy and revenue by shaping local marketing and leasing strategies.
3. Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and universities.
4. Manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and conduct regular P&L reviews.
5. Ensure compliance with housing regulations, health & safety policies, and company standards.
6. Oversee maintenance, refurbishments, and tenancy management processes.
7. Organise and promote resident engagement initiatives to enhance community living.
What We're Looking For
1. Experience in property management, student accommodation, or hospitality.
2. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams.
3. Financial acumen - comfortable managing budgets and reviewing financial reports.
4. Knowledge of landlord/tenant legislation and UK Health & Safety policies (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable).
5. Excellent communication & organisational skills - ability to multitask and prioritise.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office & property management systems (training provided if needed).
