We are looking for experienced administrators to join ourprofessional team of bank administrators who work within both clinical andcorporate functions supporting our permanent administrators in the delivery ofhealthcare services.
Devon Partnership NHS Trust employs Administration Bank staff at various bandings, while this advertisement is aimed at generic Bank Administrators at band 3 we are recruiting bank staff who will be paid for work undertaken at bands 3,4,5,6,7,8.
We have a wide range of Bank staff covering a variety ofroles, all over Devon.
Please note that if successful in your application you will be expected to have the ability to attend and work from the relevant work base for any bank assignments assigned to you.
The length of assignments will vary depending on therequirements of the needs of the particular Service.
Main duties of the job
Because of the nature of bank assignments there is anexpectation that Bank Administrators have an ability to rapidly learn officeprocedures required to undertake each assignment.
There is a need for bank administrators to be flexible andhave the skills to prioritise multiple administrative processes as eachassignment will be varied.

Qualifications
* RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice.
* Shorthand or Speedwriting.
* NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience.
* GCSE English or equivalent.
* Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
* Business qualification to level 3.
* ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
Experience
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to change when required.
* Previous experience of working within an administrative or secretarial team.
* Experience of dealing with confidential and complex information.
* Ability to take accurate formal and informal minutes.
* Demonstrate good numeracy and literacy skills.
