The Role
We are looking for a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh.
You will be responsible for leading and managing a wide variety of project types, including client liaison, financial management, and quality management. You'll be leading and overseeing our projects, including the management of our site works and the subsequent development of our production information, and for liaising with external parties and representing Curtins in external meetings.
We work on a wide range of projects with our residential capabilities and experience ranging from a few dwellings to several thousand dwellings. We also advise on numerous regionally and nationally significant projects, such as new health, education, and energy infrastructure.
The Right Fit
You will have experience managing projects of various sizes, including developing design delivery programs and ensuring effective communication of project requirements to the team.
You will oversee project delivery within the Business Unit (BU), reporting on quality, financial performance, and resource management, while representing Curtins in meetings with clients and contractors.
You will be a positive role model and an enthusiastic mentor to others in your team, providing technical support and guidance.
You will be professionally qualified with an appropriate Institution (CIWEM, GeolSoc or equivalent) or demonstrably working towards a professional qualification.
