Job Description Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Location: Caterham, Surrey Salary: £55,000 - £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Caterham, Surrey. As an ANP, you will be involved in providing advanced clinical care, assessing and managing patients, and working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced clinical assessments, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients across a range of acute and chronic conditions Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with the ANP role and relevant guidelines Provide high-quality care and treatment to patients, including managing minor injuries, illnesses, and long-term conditions Carry out clinical procedures as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of clinical pathways and protocols Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice to patients, supporting the prevention and management of health conditions Participate in patient education and share best practices with the wider healthcare team Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical records in compliance with relevant regulations Act as a clinical leader, providing mentorship and support to junior staff and nurses within the practice Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the delivery of patient care Support and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and effective patient management Qualifications & Requirements: Registered Nurse with an active NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent Independent Prescriber qualification (or willingness to complete) Extensive clinical experience in primary care or a similar setting Advanced assessment and diagnostic skills Strong understanding of clinical guidelines, protocols, and relevant legislation Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and the healthcare team Experience in managing long-term conditions, minor injuries, and urgent care Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team A commitment to continuous professional development Working Hours: Full-time position with flexibility in hours Opportunity for some weekend and evening shifts, based on practice needs What We Offer: Competitive salary of £55,000 - £58,000 per annum (depending on experience) Access to ongoing professional development and training opportunities Supportive, friendly team environment with regular clinical supervision Generous annual leave entitlement Pension scheme and other benefits The opportunity to contribute to the development of the practice and patient care services If you are an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Surrey, we would love to hear from you.
