Sectors covered include hospitality, education, retail and healthcare.Job Role:Comply2 are looking for a Commercial Electrician to join their team based in Scotland's Central Belt.
We provide a wide range of electrical services to commercial clients across the UK.With an extensive list of established customers and a strong pipeline of projects, job security is guaranteed for the right candidate.Main Responsibilities:Carry out repairs on faulty wiring, electrical systems, and components to restore safe and reliable operation in commercial environments.Carry out tests of all electrical services and systems to determine the integrity and functionality of cables, accessories and disconnection devices.Inspect materials, products and work in progress for conformance to specifications, and adjust process or assembly equipment to meet standards.Liaise with customers regarding test results, recommend corrective procedures and compile report of results, schedule of items tested and inspected and a list of defects or deviations from the British Standard which will require attention.To complete any electrical repairs and or installations required to a high standardCarry out Thermal ImagingCarry out Emergency Light Testing for a variety of customers throughout the UKIsolate circuits supplying emergency lights for an hourly rating (1-3 hours)Inspect and record lights to ensure each light is operating correctly and that there is adequate coverage for the property.Mark any defects or deviations which will require attention.Inspecting and completing log bookReport any defects or deviations which will require attention.Complete Risk Assessments as requiredEnsure all documents are completed as requiredProvide excellent levels of customer serviceKnowledge, Skills & Experience:City & Guilds 18th Edition ElectricianCity & Guilds 2391 Qualified (or equivalent) preferred not essentialHold a current SJIB CardStrong experience in commercial electrical installation, maintenance, and fault findingConfident working to targets and deadlinesAble to work under own initiative and manage workload effectivelyGood communication and problem-solving skillsFull Driving LicenceIf you are interested in joining a well-established and reputable company, click on Apply today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.No agencies please.TPBN1_UKTJ
