About Us: The Drayton is a female led luxury serviced office space provider & Members Club. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Head of House to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and administration of an office building (House).
Job Overview: The Head of House will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Customer Service and our facilities across our Central London portfolio. This individual will coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Head of House ensures that the building runs smoothly, providing a safe, functional, and professional environment for tenants and visitors. As the Head of House, you will be the first point of contact for clients, guests, and visitors, ensuring they experience exceptional service and professionalism from the moment they enter the office. You will provide high-level administrative support, manage a range of front-of-house operations, and help maintain the luxurious image of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
* Greet and welcome visitors and clients with a professional and courteous demeanor.
* Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, emails, and handle inquiries efficiently.
* Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
* Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring all amenities and equipment are set up appropriately for meetings.
* Handle VIP and high-profile client interactions with discretion and tact.
* Assist with administrative tasks, including preparing documents, handling correspondence, and organizing files.
* Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain stock.
* Ensure the office's security protocol is followed
* Organize and execute monthly members events
Facilities Management:
* Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and safety systems.
* Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations, while keeping the H&S records up to date.
* Coordinate and manage vendor relationships for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and waste management.
* Implement cost-effective strategies for energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, health, and safety standards.
Small Project Management:
* Manage facility-related projects from inception to completion, including renovations, repairs, and new installations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in Hospitality, Retail, Facilities Management, project management, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance processes.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and handle competing priorities.
* Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding building operations and safety.
