Health & Safety Advisor

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
Are you an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking for a new opportunity with a large FM company? A role has become available working for a leading facilities management company covering a static pharmaceutical facility based in Stevenage.
The business you will be working for is considered to be one of the biggest FM companies in the UK, operating throughout Europe and into America. They employ over 38,000 people across 180 locations. Established in 1994, they have grown to become one of the most recognizable businesses in facilities management, construction, industrial, and energy infrastructure across building services.
The client on site is a well-known pharmaceutical healthcare business. You will be based at the static site in Stevenage. Originally founded in India, the client has been a supplier and manufacturer of various medicines and vaccines used in today's society.
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will work closely with the H&S Manager in all aspects of delivering the Company's Health Safety Wellbeing, Environmental, and Energy Management Systems. This will include, but is not limited to:
1. Undertaking audits and inspections
2. Developing operating procedures
3. Preparing reports and statistics
4. Delivering presentations
5. Providing advice and guidance to employees and sub-contractors
In this role, you will occasionally be expected to visit additional sites in Harlow & Cambridge if needed.

Qualifications/Experience required for a Health & Safety Advisor:
1. Relevant H&S Certificate IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification (Behavioral safety experience is an advantage)
2. Experience preferably in a health and safety/environmental/energy-related role
3. Experience in delivering presentations/training sessions
4. Experience of health and safety, environmental, and energy management systems
5. Auditing and Compliance experience
