Join Youth Empowerment and Crime Prevention (YECP) as a volunteer and help us make a difference in the lives of young BAME individuals in Bristol. Our mission is to prevent first-time offenses, reduce re-offending, and support young people to access education, employment, and training.
As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to:
1. Engage in community drop-ins: Support young people with CV building, interview skills, and personal development.
2. Participate in outreach activities: Connect with youth in the community, share opportunities, and inspire positive change.
3. Assist with social media: Boost our online presence and help us reach more young people.
Volunteering with YECP is a chance to gain experience, develop skills, and contribute to a safer, more inclusive Bristol. Flexible hours available to suit your schedule. Join us to empower the next generation!
Youth Empowerment and Crime Prevention CIC
Youth Empowerment and Crime Prevention (YECP) is a newly established charitable non-profit organisation dedicated to reducing crime and empowering Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) youth. Our mission is to prevent first-time offenses, support young offenders, assist victims of crime, and reduce re-offending rates, ultimately fostering a safer and more inclusive society. As a new organisation, we are at an exciting stage of development, launching programs and services that will significantly impact the lives of BAME youth and their families. Volunteers are integral to this journey, providing the energy, skills, and commitment needed to bring our vision to life. With their support, YECP will be able to reach more young people, build community connections, and create lasting change.
