Modality LLP is looking to expand our existing aesthetics team through the recruitment of a practitioner to support future growth of our private aesthetic and NHS laser services.
Modality LLP manages a wide range of conditions that include dermatological and aesthetic conditions. Our team of GPwERs and specialist practitioners are able to provide patients with rapid access to specialist opinion from our clinic locations in Edgbaston Birmingham, Bromsgrove Worcester, and Caterham Surrey. This post is for the Bromsgrove clinic (with potential cross cover in Edgbaston).

Main duties of the job
Postholders will support delivery of the specialist aesthetic service, supervised by senior clinicians. Postholders will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the assessment, monitoring, and follow-up of clients. The post holder will also support the administrative functions of running the clinic such as booking appointments, front of house, and stock ordering.
We strive to deliver exceptional standards of care within our clinic setting where clients are seen in a timely and convenient manner. Our service also incorporates regular teaching/training/update which ensures that our practitioners are supported to continuously develop.

* Over 15 years of experience in delivering community outpatient services
* Contracts with ICBs and hospital providers
* A diverse clinical workforce of consultants, GPs with extended roles, specialist nurses, and allied health professionals
* Delivery of over 120,000 patient consultations per year
* Delivery of 1st consultations within a maximum of 4 weeks from referral from a choice of community locations, 7 days per week

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification (minimum) or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience.
* Competence in individual client caseload management and able to prioritise own work.
* Knowledge & experience of anatomy and skin structure.
* Able to work effectively in a team, supporting others and challenging colleagues' views and attitudes when necessary.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to re-prioritise.
* Highly organised individual who is able to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
* Basic IT skills.
* Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet the needs of the service.
* Full driving licence and the ability to travel between service locations.
* Ability to carry out client assessments or treatments.
* Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload with minimal supervision.
* Experience of working within a similar environment e.g. private aesthetic/beauty clinic.
* An understanding of multi-disciplinary and/or multi-agency working within a community setting.
* Basic IT skills and experience of using clinical systems such as EMIS/SYSTMONE/ECLINIC.
