Electrical Commissioning Engineer Northumberland, United Kingdom Salary: £40,000-£60,000 DOE Jackson Hogg in delighted to be working with a leading offshore subsea engineering business, which delivers offshore equipment to oil&gas industries. They are currently undergoing expansion and looking for capable engineers to join their progressive team. This is a permanent, hybrid role with offshore travelling. Electrical Commissioning Engineer Key Responsibilities: Lead the commissioning process for offshore equipment and systems, full lifecycle. Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for the successful integration and testing of complex equipment. Conduct site inspections and testing to verify sub-systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and/or control technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, and during offshore trials. Provide onsite, offshore and office based technical support and training to customers and end-users on the operation and maintenance of commissioned equipment. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of commissioning activities, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions. Collaborate with Project Owners to ensure commissioning milestones are achieved within project timelines and budget constraints. Electrical Commissioning Engineer Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering. Proven experience in commissioning engineering, preferably in the offshore or marine industry. Strong technical knowledge of offshore equipment and systems. Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
