Job Description We are looking for a proactive and approachable Operations Administrator to ensure the consistent delivery of a safe and fit for purpose working environment for colleagues based in our brand-new office building for our Shared Service Centre in Glasgow. This position offers a great opportunity to make the role your own given the recent office move. The Operations Administrator is a flexible resource supporting the operations team with facilities management, equipment management and mail room services, as well as any other ad-hoc administrative tasks. This role will require the successful candidate to work on-site 5 days per week. Your role will involve Providing general facilities management assistance around the Business Service Centre, to ensure a safe and fit for purpose working environment for colleagues Supporting the provision of electronic document management for the centre, with a daily focus in inbound and outbound mail, and transfer of archives to electronic medium Managing the provision of IT equipment for the centre including deployment of assets, stock management, and basic troubleshooting Providing high quality administrative support Working with colleagues in the centre and beyond to resolve service issues and identify improvement opportunities These Skills Are Essential Competence working with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service, evidence through working in a previous customer service role Proven ability to take ownership and work on own initiative Ability to maintain resilience when dealing with issues and complaints Ideally, you’ll also have: Previous administration and/or facilities experience Knowledge of applicable Health & Safety legislation About Us There’s something so special about working for the world’s most iconic airport. Working location Your contractual place of work will be the Heathrow Business Services Centre in Glasgow so you'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to work. We also have some hybrid roles with a working approach which offers the opportunity for colleagues to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow.
